MEETING MINUTES

 

Present: Gay Barzee, Carol Carroll, Lisa Clements, Shelly Doty, Jaque Johnson, Brenda Ross, Regan Walker, Kenny Wiscombe

 

Special Meeting Commenced at Approximately 2:15 pm.

 

Business

 

ACE felt the need to draft a letter to the Division of Human Resources for the State of Idaho and copy Boise State Human Resources and President Kustra, concerning the new compensation schedules and rules that became effect July 1, 2006.

 

Discussion of points and concerns to include in the letter:

            State career employees (long-term employees)

            Job description discrepancies

            Change of wages with market value change each year

            New personnel versus career personnel and pay structure

           

BSU HR will be contacted to get further information on the compa-ratio definition and clarification of the merit increase matrix (question to BSU HR?)

 

Gay will develop the draft letter for ACE members to review.  Once reviewed a final letter will be sent.

 

Meeting adjourned at approximately 3:20 pm.

ASSOCIATION OF CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES SENATE 2006-2007

 

The Association of Classified Employees (ACE) Senate consists of 15 members elected to represent University classified staff on various committees (including the President’s Cabinet), to head up special projects, and to keep classified staff informed on issues that affect us. The ACE Senate meets in the Student Union the third Tuesday of each month from 2 – 3 p.m.  during the academic year.  All classified staff are welcome to attend any of the monthly meetings -- just show up!
